Atherton LR in the Bolton Hospital Cup

The Bolton Hospital Cup was started in 1930 and initially the money raised was used to help pay for the broadcast of Bolton Wanderers matches
to local hospitals via specially laid land lines. Since then many thousands of pounds have been raised to benefit local charities.
For many years Burnden Park, home of Bolton Wanderers, was used to stage the final and once the Wanderers had settled into their new Reebok Stadium in Horwich, they again allowed their ground to be used for the Hospital Cup final.

No information is available for goalscorers before 2000. No records were kept and no information given in the local press.
